Canada AM Returns to its Original Format beginning Monday, June 9

CTV announced today that Canada AM, Canada’s leading national morning show, will return to its original format with Beverly Thomson and Seamus O’Regan co-hosting for the full duration of the program in all markets across the country. Jeff Hutcheson and Marci Ien will continue to join them as Weather and News Anchors.

As a result of this decision, Canada AM will no longer be producing its Western edition.

“Our first commitment is to the viewer, and we heard from our viewers in Western Canada that they wanted Canada AM returned to its original format,” said Robert Hurst, President of CTV News and Current Affairs.

Canada AM will continue to deliver the biggest national and international stories along with live local news updates in all markets across the country.
